SONday is the heart of Treetop — a community movement dedicated to uplifting our sons, our families, and our neighborhoods through positive leadership, weekly inspiration, and hands-on service.
Every SONday, we come together with the same mission:
empower, educate, heal, and build.
From motivational messages to community support, SONday is a weekly reminder that we rise higher when we rise together.

🧤 Winter Warmth Clothing Drive (Now Through January 20th)
Treetop is partnered with Gonzales Grocery Store (7200 Bancroft Ave, Oakland) to collect warm clothing for families and youth across the city.

Weekly Pickup Schedule
Treetop collects donations every Thursday.
SONday Distribution
Clothing will be handed out in front of Gonzales Grocery Store:
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Come receive something warm, or help give warmth to someone else.
📚 The Treetop Library (Free Until January 1st)
As part of The SONday initiative, Treetop is offering free storybooks, children’s books, and community literature until January 1st.
This includes:

Future collaboration with Gonzales Grocery Store for food boxes, meal prep support, and canned food drives.
✔ Literacy & Book Drop Stations
Creating reading tables and book pickup locations for children and parents.
✔ Father–Son Activities
Workshops, sports activities, creativity labs, and mentorship opportunities.
✔ Seasonal Events
Holiday support, back-to-school giveaways, new-life celebrations, and emotional healing spaces.
